These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Coin Scanner mobile application and related services ("Coin Scanner," the "App," or the "Service") provided by Nextable ("we," "us," or "our").
By using Coin Scanner, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable, revocable license to use Coin Scanner for your personal, non-commercial use.
Coin Scanner helps users capture images of coins, generate identification results, organize scan history, save coins to collections, and view related reference information. Results may be generated using automated image processing, optical character recognition, catalog matching, machine learning, and other tools.
Coin Scanner results are informational only. Coin identification, grade bands, rarity indicators, prices, valuations, and estimates may be incomplete, inaccurate, outdated, or unsuitable for a specific transaction.
Market prices, rarity indicators, catalog information, mintages, and other reference data may come from third-party sources and may be delayed, incomplete, estimated, or inaccurate.
Coin Scanner is not a professional appraisal service, grading service, financial advisor, investment advisor, or authentication service. Do not rely on Coin Scanner as the sole basis for buying, selling, insuring, authenticating, grading, or valuing a coin. You should consult qualified professionals before making important collecting, purchase, sale, insurance, or investment decisions.
You are solely responsible for any decisions you make based on information shown in the App.
You must be at least 13 years old to use Coin Scanner. If you are under the age of majority where you live, you may use the App only with permission from a parent or legal guardian.
The App may create an anonymous or user account identifier to operate scan history, collections, subscriptions, and settings. If you choose to create or update an account or profile, you agree to provide accurate information and to keep your username, sign-in information, and other account details reasonably secure. You are responsible for activity associated with your account or device.
You may submit coin photos, scan data, edits, collection information, notes, support messages, or other content ("User Content").
You keep ownership of your User Content. You grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, process, analyze, display, and use User Content as needed to provide, maintain, secure, support, and improve Coin Scanner.
You represent that you have the rights needed to submit User Content and that your User Content does not violate law or the rights of others.

If you download Coin Scanner from the Apple App Store, these Terms are between you and Nextable, not Apple. Apple is not responsible for the App or its content, has no obligation to provide maintenance or support services for the App, and is not responsible for claims relating to the App, including product liability, legal compliance, consumer protection, intellectual property infringement, or maintenance and support claims. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce these Terms against you.
Some features may require a paid subscription or in-app purchase. Purchases are processed by Apple through your Apple account.
Subscription pricing, billing periods, renewal terms, and trial terms are shown before purchase. Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period, according to Apple's rules. You can manage or cancel subscriptions in your Apple account settings.
Refunds are handled by Apple unless otherwise required by law. We may use RevenueCat or similar providers to validate purchases and manage entitlements.
We may offer beta, preview, or experimental features. These features may change, break, produce inaccurate results, or be removed at any time.
Coin Scanner, including the App, software, design, logos, text, workflows, and other materials, is owned by us or our licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. These Terms do not transfer ownership of the App or our intellectual property to you.
Reference catalog information, images, and third-party content may be subject to separate licenses, attribution requirements, or usage restrictions.
If you submit feedback, suggestions, ideas, or feature requests about Coin Scanner, you grant us a worldwide, perpetual, irrevocable, non-exclusive, royalty-free right to use, reproduce, modify, adapt, publish, and otherwise exploit that feedback without restriction or compensation to you.
The App may rely on third-party services such as Apple, Supabase, RevenueCat, Superwall, analytics providers, cloud hosting providers, OCR providers, AI providers, and reference data sources. We are not responsible for third-party services, content, terms, or privacy practices.
If you believe content in Coin Scanner infringes your copyright, contact us at support@nextable.app with your name, contact information, identification of the copyrighted work, identification of the allegedly infringing content, and a statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is unauthorized.
You may delete scan images or request deletion of account-related information through the App where available or by contacting support. Subscription cancellation is managed separately through Apple. We may retain limited information where required by law, for security, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, or legitimate business records.
We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the App at any time. We may also update these Terms. If changes are material, we will provide notice where required. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
We may suspend or terminate access to the App if you violate these Terms, create risk for us or others, or use the App in a way that may cause harm, legal exposure, or security issues.
The App is provided "as is" and "as available." To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, whether express, implied, or statutory, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, accuracy, availability, and non-infringement.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost data, lost goodwill, purchase or sale losses, appraisal or valuation losses, or other intangible losses.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for claims related to the App will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid to use the App in the three months before the claim or $100.
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold us harmless from claims, damages, liabilities, losses, and expenses arising from your User Content, misuse of the App, violation of these Terms, or violation of law or third-party rights.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to conflict of law rules, unless applicable law requires otherwise.
Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or Coin Scanner will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in California, unless applicable law requires otherwise. You and Nextable consent to personal jurisdiction and venue in those courts.
If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in effect.
You may not assign or transfer these Terms without our prior written consent. We may assign these Terms in connection with a merger, acquisition, reorganization, or sale of assets.
Our failure to enforce any provision of these Terms is not a waiver of that provision or any other provision.
These Terms and the Privacy Policy are the entire agreement between you and us regarding Coin Scanner and supersede prior or contemporaneous understandings on that subject.
The sections that by their nature should survive termination or expiration of these Terms will survive, including sections relating to intellectual property, feedback, disclaimers, limitation of liability, indemnity, disputes, and general terms.
