Coin Scanner is provided by Nextable ("Coin Scanner," "we," "us," or "our"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect information when you use the Coin Scanner mobile application and related services.
When you scan a coin, the app may collect images of the coin's obverse and reverse, image metadata generated by the app, scan quality signals, optical character recognition output, identification results, confidence scores, detected year, country, denomination, mint mark, grade/value estimates, and related processing metadata.
The app may create an app account identifier, including an anonymous account identifier, to keep scan history, collections, purchases, and app settings associated with your device or account. If you choose to create or update an account or profile, we may collect the information you provide, such as your email address, username, display name, profile details, and sign-in information. We use this information to operate your account, provide support, personalize account features, and communicate with you about the app.
If you purchase a subscription or premium feature, Apple processes the payment. We may receive purchase status, entitlement identifiers, renewal status, product identifiers, and related subscription metadata from Apple and RevenueCat. We do not receive your full payment card details.
If you save coins, create collections, edit scan results, or add notes in the app, we collect the content needed to provide those features.
We may collect app events, device type, operating system, app version, performance data, crash reports, feature usage, and similar diagnostics to improve reliability, understand usage, prevent abuse, and support users.
We and our service providers may also use software development kits (SDKs), device identifiers, subscription and attribution events, and similar technologies to understand app usage, measure paywall and purchase performance, restore purchases, prevent fraud, and improve Coin Scanner.
If you contact us, we collect the information you provide, such as your name, email address, message, screenshots, and other context needed to respond.
We use information to:

Coin photos may be uploaded to our backend or third-party service providers for image processing, optical character recognition, visual analysis, and identification. We use these images to provide the scan result and improve the reliability of the product.
We do not sell your coin photos. We do not use your coin photos for advertising. We use coin photos only for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, including providing scan results, maintaining scan history, debugging reliability issues, and improving Coin Scanner.
