Effective date: June 22, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Nextable ("we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, discloses, and protects information when you use the Coin Scanner mobile application and related services ("Coin Scanner" or the "App").
When you scan a coin, we may collect images of the coin's obverse and reverse, image metadata generated by the app, scan quality signals, optical character recognition output, identification results, confidence scores, detected year, country, denomination, mint mark, grade or value estimates, and related processing metadata.
We may create or assign an app account identifier, including an anonymous account identifier, to keep scan history, collections, purchases, and app settings associated with your device or account. If you choose to create or update an account or profile, we may collect the information you provide, such as your email address, username, display name, profile details, and sign-in information. We use this information to operate your account, provide support, personalize account features, and communicate with you about the app.
If you purchase a subscription or premium feature, Apple processes the payment. We may receive purchase status, entitlement identifiers, renewal status, product identifiers, customer identifiers, transaction status, and related subscription metadata from Apple, RevenueCat, or similar purchase infrastructure providers. We do not receive your full payment card details.
If you save coins, create collections, edit scan results, or add notes in the app, we collect the content and activity needed to provide those features.
We may collect app events, device type, operating system, app version, performance data, crash reports, feature usage, session activity, paywall interactions, and similar diagnostics to improve reliability, understand usage, prevent abuse, and support users.
We and our service providers may also use software development kits, device identifiers, subscription and attribution events, and similar technologies to understand app usage, measure paywall and purchase performance, restore purchases, prevent fraud, and improve Coin Scanner.
If you contact us, we collect the information you provide, such as your name, email address, message, screenshots, attachments, and other context needed to respond.
If you use our website or web-based services, we and our service providers may use cookies, SDKs, pixels, or similar technologies to operate the site, remember preferences, measure usage, improve performance, and protect the service. Browser settings may allow you to block or delete cookies, but some features may not work correctly without them.
We use information to:
Please do not submit sensitive personal information through coin photos, collection notes, support messages, or other app features unless it is reasonably necessary for support. This includes government identification numbers, financial account numbers, health information, precise location information, or photos of people and personal documents that are not needed to use the app.
Coin photos may be uploaded to our backend or service providers for image processing, optical character recognition, visual analysis, and identification. Original scan photos may be stored in the scan-inputs storage bucket. Generated images, such as crops, thumbnails, processing artifacts, and related scan outputs, may be stored separately in the scan-derived storage bucket and related database records.
We use coin photos and scan outputs to provide scan results, maintain scan history, troubleshoot reliability issues, and improve Coin Scanner's scanning quality. We do not sell your coin photos. We do not use your coin photos for third-party advertising. We do not currently use uploaded coin photos to train general-purpose AI models.
Automated systems may generate coin identification, grade bands, confidence scores, and value estimates. These results may be incomplete or inaccurate and should not be treated as professional authentication, grading, appraisal, financial, or investment advice.
We do not sell personal information. We do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising or targeted advertising. We do not serve third-party ads in the app, and we do not use your data to track you across apps and websites owned by other companies. We do not use coin photos for advertising.
